{"id":646,"date":"2023-08-01T16:01:00","date_gmt":"2023-08-01T16:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.beamingproductions.com\/studios\/?p=646"},"modified":"2023-08-01T16:01:02","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T16:01:02","slug":"sonic-installations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beamingproductions.com\/studios\/2023\/08\/01\/sonic-installations\/","title":{"rendered":"Sonic Installations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sonic Installations originate from the Sonic Network sound + painting <a href=\"https:\/\/johnaslanidis.com\/work\/installation-views\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">installations<\/a> exhibited by <a href=\"https:\/\/johnaslanidis.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">John Aslanidis<\/a> &amp; Brian May in contemporary art spaces and galleries throughout <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/showcase\/2880427\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sydney, Melbourne, New York and Berlin<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 3D animations in this collection are an expansion of the physical Sonic Network sound &amp; painting installations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">VISUAL<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The enclosed environment of a Sonic Installation is wrapped with a Sonic Network series painting. The revolving spheres are wrapped with the works in the Sonic &amp; Sonic Fragment series, creating an immersive and disorientating environment, subsequently manifesting a synergy of analogue and digital mediums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AUDIO<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brian May composed an infinite, generative sound piece for each installation, which takes into consideration the structure, colours and composition of John Aslanidis&#8217; paintings.
